Here is a collection of frequently asked questions that we have put together to assist you. If you have any other questions, not listed here, feel free to call or send an email.
-
Q: What
is the average life expectancy of air conditioning and heating system?
A: The average life expectancy of an a/c
and heating system is 12 to 15 years if it is installed and maintained
properly.
-
Q: How
often should I have my system serviced?
A: You should have your system serviced
twice a year. Once in the spring before the cooling season and once in the fall
before the heating season.
-
Q: What
is duct cleaning?
A: Duct cleaning refers to the cleaning of
various parts of the heating and cooling system components. Not only does duct
cleaning increase the air quality in your home, but it can also be energy
saving. Contaminants in the heating and cooling system cause it to work harder
and shorten the life of your system.
-
Q: What
should I do if my system is frozen?
A: We recommend that you turn your system
off and the fan in the on position, then call us to come check it out.
-
Q: What
is a heat pump?
A: Heat pumps
employ the same principles that an air conditioner uses to heat and cool your
home. Air conditioners work by pumping refrigerant through a series of tubing
and coils. The heat is removed from the air and then blown through your home
through a series of ducts. A heat pump does the exact same thing as an air
conditioner, but it is able to reverse the process to blow hot air though your
ducts as well.
-
Q: What
are my payment options?
A: We accept Cash, Check, MasterCard and
Visa. We also have financing options available.
